Ahhhh awards season. The fashion gift that keeps on giving. I really really love watching awards shows and I love watching the red carpets even more. Pretending I'm a professional fashion critic and deciding which looks I absolutely love and which looks should never have made it on the carpet to begin with.
And there are always a lot of those.
Screen Actors Guild Awards aka the SAG Awards were just last Sunday and I watched it all from the moment the very first actor walked down the red carpet, to the very last acceptance speech. Like I told you, I just love these awards shows!
Mila Kunis wore the most gorgeous strapless chiffon gown from Alexander McQueen's 2011 resort collection and I wasn't the only one who loved it. She got so many amazing reviews about the look and she was one who ruled the carpet. Although, I have to say I am really bummed she hasn't won any of her supporting actress nominations for Black Swan. That movie was insane. (Have I mentioned that before?)
This pre-fall 2011 Versace gown looked absolutely stunning on Hilary Swank. The fit was perfect for her body and her hairstyle & skin tone go so well with the color of the gown. Normally we don't see her on many best dressed lists, but she's been all over them as a result of this look.
Natalie Portman has proved at every award show this far that she (or her stylist, rather) knows exactly how to dress during her pregnancy. She looked absolutely flawless in this Azzaro gown with crystal accents. Not to mention, she won Best Actress for Black Swan. Yay. Now bring on the Oscar!
Lea Michelle wore this embroidered gown from Oscar de la Renta's Spring 2011 Collection. She's been wearing a lot from this designer lately but I absolutely love this one. It's sophisticated but also fun. Still obsessed with her dress from last year's SAG Awards though. Gorgeous.

haha model monday mackenz is PERF you're amazing, literally the first three sentences just made me laugh out loud...LOVES IT!
Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman totally took home the awards in my book; that is, if I were giving awards in fashion. Mila {or her undoubtedly fabulous stylist} always knows what colors look best with her skin/hair/eyes combination, and this is no exception. And Natalie Portman...well, face it--we've never seen a pregnant woman look that gorgeous before.
