Solved: The Mysterious Case of the Missing Eyebrows

About two months ago, Miley Cyrus instagrammed a selfie involving what appeared to be bleached eyebrows. It was a hard time for me, because I personally think that Miley has some of the best natural brows in Hollywood. But time heals everything (including bleached eyebrows apparently), and it all makes sense now.

Yesterday word broke that Miley Cyrus would be the new face of Marc Jacobs in the Spring 2014 campaigns, and this is exactly what prompted me to start blogging again. Because I knew that screaming from the rooftops about my excitement over this campaign would not be an option... although very possible.

The campaign, styled by Katie Grand and for the first time in a decade, NOT shot by Juergen Teller but instead by David Sims, could NOT be more perfect. The styling, from the clothes on the dark sandy beach (which seems like an extension of the runway show) to the sultry makeup, represents the new spring collection perfectly.

Because the change in photographer was due to Juergen not wanting to shoot Miley, Marc went on to exclaim his love for Miley which sounds pretty similar to mine:

"We all just love her and her entire being, her energy, her talent, her intelligence, everything. There's nothing I don't like about her. She is just genuine and very natural."

I'm just really loving the mood and sulkiness to these photographs, and can't wait to see them on the glossy pages of my next Elle or Vogue.

What do you think about Marc's decision to make Miley the face of Marc Jacobs?
