Fuschia Fever

That's what I'm calling the recent sickness I've come down with. Fuschia Fever. What can I say, it happens to the best of us. Whether it's a chiffon blouse or dress, a blazer, or platforms, I have recently fallen in love with anything fuschia and hot pink. With spring right around the corner, I think it's the perfect way to add a major pop of color to any outfit. I love the pink blazer paired with a gray blouse and black leather shorts (Olivia, is it even possible for you to have an off day??) and SJP proves that it surprisingly works well with red. Go casual in a button up and white jeans or take it up a notch in a flowy dress for date night or girls night!

And for my skeptics who still aren't sure they can pull off the fuschia trend, there are so many ways to incorporate the color into your style that you can take baby steps! Your go-to should be hot pink nails or lips - I've recently been trying out Maybelline's version of fuschia lipstick and love it. Something I've also wanted to try for a day is the temporary version of dip dyed hair called hair chalking. It looks super easy & you can watch a tutorial here. You can even incorporate the trend at home with an artificial flower arrangement on a side table, or a lampshade. Last but not least is a hot pink clutch. I am dying for the one pictured below from Primary New York that I almost won in a giveaway. Still bitter, but I'll get over it.... eventually.

Although my lips are hot pink, it's only a temporary fix until I can get my hands on the perfect fuschia blazer, flowy dress or snakeskin clutch for spring & summer. How are you going to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe?
